The challenge
ErgoGlobal is a global IT services company operating across the UK, Ireland, and APAC, serving enterprise clients in regulated industries including financial services and industrial enterprise. With over 150,000 platform users distributed across more than 80 legal entities, ErgoGlobal required a structured, auditable change-control infrastructure to support ISO compliance at scale.
The core requirement: every field change, every workflow action, and every data operation needed to be logged in an immutable, timestamped record one that could be presented to an external ISO auditor as primary evidence without manual reconstruction.
The solution
ErgoGlobal deployed the KPOData platform, the enterprise infrastructure underpinning GreenKPO, as the central change-control and audit evidence layer. The platform's append-only Field Changes log captures every data operation with trigger type, previous value, new value, user attribution, and timestamp. Records cannot be altered or deleted.
This infrastructure operates across all 80+ legal entities in ErgoGlobal's deployment from a single platform instance, providing a consolidated audit trail that spans the full operational scope of the organisation.
The outcome
The ISO audit passed. The KPOData platform's immutable change-control log was used as primary audit evidence, replacing the manual documentation processes that had previously required significant resource to compile and present. The audit outcome validated the platform's evidence chain as sufficient for external regulatory review.
The same infrastructure now powers GreenKPO's audit-ready carbon reporting capability. When a GreenKPO client produces a carbon report, the evidence chain behind every figure is the same append-only, tamper-evident log that passed ErgoGlobal's ISO audit.
